UK Programs We Support

Structured pathways aligned with the Algerian education system and UK NQF requirements — from Baccalauréat to PhD.

Undergraduate pathways (after Baccalauréat)

International Foundation Year (IFY)

The Algerian Baccalauréat is not accepted for direct entry into standard three-year UK bachelor's programs. For most high school graduates — especially with a passable score (typically 10.00–11.99/20) — the IFY is the standard bridge: one year combining academic preparation and English, then automatic progression to Year 1 of your chosen degree.

Typical profile

  • •Baccalauréat pass (passable / sans mention), typically 10.00–11.99/20
  • •IELTS UKVI Academic required (SELT mandatory for below-degree courses)
  • •Valid passport, transcripts, and sworn translations
  • •Financial evidence: tuition + living costs (London £1,529/mo or outside £1,171/mo × 9 months)
  • •TB screening at BELKAID or IOM MHAC if the course exceeds 6 months

Agency & tuition

98,000 DZD agency package + IFY tuition (~£10,000–£18,000/year) & deposit

International Year One (IY1)

An accelerated credit-bearing pathway equivalent to the first year of a UK bachelor's degree. Select universities offer IY1 to above-average Baccalauréat holders, allowing graduation in three years total instead of foundation + three years.

Typical profile

  • •Baccalauréat assez bien, typically 12.00–14.99/20 (some universities require ≥15/20)
  • •Strong English; IELTS UKVI often required at partner centres
  • •Relevant academic stream aligned with the chosen UK course
  • •Valid passport and certified academic documents
  • •Same Student visa financial rules: 28-day hold + evidence within 31 days

Agency & tuition

98,000 DZD agency package + IY1 tuition & university deposit

Direct Bachelor Entry

Direct admission to a three-year UK bachelor's degree without a foundation year is reserved for a competitive cohort: exceptional Algerian Baccalauréat scores, international qualifications, or equivalent pathways accepted by the university.

Who may qualify

  • •Baccalauréat très bien: typically ≥16.00/20 at select universities
  • •International Baccalaureate: typically 24–33 points with required HL subjects
  • •UK A-Levels: three subjects (from A*AA to CCC depending on course)
  • •French Baccalauréat: overall average ≥12/20 in a relevant stream
  • •English CEFR B2; universities may accept IELTS Academic, PTE or TOEFL at degree level

Agency & tuition

98,000 DZD agency package + £10,000–£25,000/year typical tuition

Postgraduate pathways (after Licence / Master)

Pre-Master's Pathway

For Licence holders who fall slightly below the master's grade threshold (typically 10.00–11.99/20, UK Third Class equivalent) or who need to change academic field. Pre-Master's programs (1–3 terms) build academic English, research methods, and quantitative skills before a taught master's.

Typical profile

  • •Algerian Licence, DES, or recognized diploma with grades below standard master's entry
  • •Subject change or skills gap requiring a formal bridge program
  • •Delivered via university international centres (ONCampus, Kaplan, ISC partners)
  • •English and academic readiness aligned with the target master's
  • •Leads to progression onto an eligible taught master's (PGT)

Agency & tuition

98,000 DZD agency package + pre-master's fees & deposit

Taught Master's (PGT)

The most common route for Algerian students: Licence to UK master's. Algerian Licence, DES, Diplôme d'Ingénieur and Diplôme d'Architecte d'État are mapped to UK Honours equivalencies. We manage admission, CAS, visa filing, and Graduate Route planning.

Grade mapping (Licence /20)

  • •16.00–20.00 (très bien) → UK First Class — highly competitive programs
  • •14.00–15.99 (bien) → UK 2:1 — standard master's admission
  • •12.00–13.99 (assez bien) → UK 2:2 — varies by institution
  • •10.00–11.99 (passable) → Pre-Master's usually required first
  • •English CEFR B2; ATAS before visa if the subject is sensitive

Agency & tuition

98,000 DZD agency package + £10,000–£25,000/year typical tuition

PhD / Research

Doctoral programs require a recognized master's (UK or highly ranked Algerian university), a detailed research proposal, and supervisor agreement before formal application. We screen ATAS early and manage the full immigration file.

Requirements

  • •Master's degree or equivalent research background
  • •Research proposal and confirmed academic supervisor interest
  • •English CEFR B2 or higher; subject-specific requirements may be stricter
  • •ATAS mandatory for many science, engineering, and technology fields
  • •Graduate Route up to 3 years post-study if applying by 31 Dec 2026

Agency & tuition

98,000 DZD agency package + research fees (often partially funded)

The 2026 Digital UK Advantage

The UK has modernized its student visa process — and we guide you through every digital step.

Digital eVisas

In 2026, successful applicants normally receive an eVisa only. You keep your physical passport after your biometric appointment at VFS Global in Algiers or Oran. Before travel, create or access your UKVI account, link the passport you will use, and check your permission.

Post-Study Work (Graduate Route)

After completing an eligible course, you may apply to stay and work in the UK without employer sponsorship. Duration: 2 years if you apply by 31 Dec 2026, 18 months from 1 Jan 2027, or 3 years for a PhD. This is a temporary post-study option, not guaranteed employment or settlement.

Work While Studying

Degree-level students can legally work up to 20 hours per week during the semester and full-time during holidays.

The 7-Step Algerian Student Roadmap

Your clear path from Algeria to a UK university — managed step by step by our team.

1

Step 1: Diagnosis & Admission

We screen your academic fit and English level, then secure an unconditional offer from a licensed UK university.

2

Step 2: English & Medicals

You meet the English requirement for your course (often IELTS UKVI or another approved test when required) and complete your TB test at a Home Office-approved clinic in Algeria if your course is over 6 months.

3

Step 3: The 28-Day Bank Rule

You hold your living costs and tuition balance in your (or your parents') bank account for exactly 28 consecutive days, and your bank evidence must be dated within 31 days of your visa application date.

4

Step 4: The CAS Issuance

We secure and verify your CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies)—your official 14-character sponsorship number.

5

Step 5: Visa Filing & Fees

Once your CAS and 28-day funds are ready, we submit your application (you can usually apply up to 6 months before your course starts) and pay the UKVI fees (£558 + £776/year IHS).

6

Step 6: VFS Biometrics

You attend an appointment in Algiers or Oran to submit your fingerprints—and keep your passport!

7

Step 7: eVisa & Travel

Wait ~3 weeks for standard processing. We help you access your digital eVisa, link your passport, and prepare for the UK border.

The 70-Point Formula & Financial Calculator

The UK visa is not a lottery; it is a strict mathematics-based system. You need exactly 70 points.

Funds must remain in a regulated bank account for 28 uninterrupted days, and the closing balance date must fall within 31 days of your visa application date.

⚠️ The 28-Day Warning for Algerians

Avoid sudden, unexplained massive cash deposits right before printing statements, as this flags you for non-genuine funds. We structure your financial file to meet Home Office standards.
