Saint Leo University is a private Catholic university founded in 1889. Its main campus, University Campus, is in St. Leo, about 55 km north of Tampa, Florida: a residential campus with small classes, where international students are supported by the Center for Global Engagement.

For Algerian students it has three practical advantages: the online application is free, the SAT and ACT are not required, and students whose English score is below the direct-admission level can be admitted through the Bridge program, which adds English courses to the first semesters.
